"There is a common belief that our relatives visit us sometimes like butterflies," continued the Manns. "So they released the butterflies, they do not fly away. They clung on them and have even stayed on their bodies throughout the ceremony and then in a good hour cocktail."
One of the butterflies landed on the father finger groom and lingered there, resulting in an incredible picture that has since disappeared.
"The same butterfly on his finger remained there throughout the ceremony and then flew on the bridal bouquet," Manns noted. "Lydia, the bride, even down the aisle with two of her dress. Then a few hours later in the speech, another butterfly was somehow inside the barn and landed on the neck Lydia and stayed there for all the talk. "
When you have reached, Lydia said that her husband's family had released butterflies in honor of his late sister, and not only because of the belief that our relatives visit us as butterflies after death. The name of his sister was Vanessa, which actually means butterfly.
"We always take it as a sign that she is with us when we see a butterfly fly," said Lydia. "Vanessa was one of my bridesmaids, so it was a nice way to honor and include our special day."
