Why this state has turned soaring Covid numbers stop testing
This state will lose the days of test data coronaviruses for this inevitable reason.
The tests in America were a furrowed situation for most of the coronavirus pandemic:Test Results Take two weeks to return, false negatives and the limited availability of tests are just some of the complications we have seen in recent months. Mother Nature is determined to hinder the tests as well. AsTropical Storm Isaias Approach Florida, the state with theSecond largest cases is paused from Covid tests for several days, according to a state press release.
By the press release, after all test sites supported by the state completed on July 30, they will not be reopened until it is sure to do so, which will probably be on the morning of August 5th. Test sites have self-supporting structures, including tents and various equipment, which will not survive the violent winds of storms. The test sites will reopen on a rolling base when the storm passes through the state regions, according to the press release.
TheStorm has already struck Puerto Rico, generating landslides, widespread floods and power failures. The closure of the test centers is only one of the many precautions of Floridians take in anticipation of the storm, which should reach Florida over the weekend.
If the evacuation is necessary, the social distancing will be a challenge. "Look, if we have a major hurricane here, so we will have to have toEvacuate a number of people, "Mayor of Miami-Dade CountyCarlos Gimenez CNN says. "And then we will have to have to ... try to keep them separated as much as possible."
Gimenez also expressed his concerns about testing to test until the storm passes. "But the greatest danger, the immediate danger must be taken care of first, and it keeps our people from harming," he added.
