These are the only two proven disinfectants to kill Covid-19, says EPA
The EPA tested and approved two Lysol products as disinfectants for killing coronavirus.
COVID-19 propagates mainly Persons-to-person through respiratory droplets, according to disease control and prevention centers (CDC). However, the virus can also survive for a period of time on certain surfaces, which can infect people coming into contact with these contaminated articles. And some surfaces, such as plastic and stainless steel, canhold this new coronavirus for three days up to three days. That's why carefullyCleaning and disinfection of articles has become extremely important in the race to stop the propagation of COVID-19. And although there are many disinfectants among which to choose, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finally officially approved two products:Lysol Disinfectant Spray andLysol disinfectant MAX cover mast.
"The EPA is committed to identifying new tools and provide accurate and up-to-date information to help the American public protect themselves and their families from the new coronavirus, "EPA administratorAndrew Wheelersaid in a public statement. "The review of EPA products tested against this virus marks an important step in President Trump's approach to the Government of President Trump to combat the propagation of COVID-19."
TheEPA initially published List n early March, which has now increased in a compilation of more than 420 disinfectants who meet theCriteria of the operating agency against SARS-COV-2, the coronavirus that causes Covid-19. However, because Sars-Cov-2 is still a relatively new virus, the agency has not been able to actually test disinfectants on this virus before release the recommended list. Instead, disinfectants had to respect one of the two requirements in List N: demonstrating effectiveness against a virus more difficult to kill or demonstrate efficiency against another type of human coronavirus similar to Sars-Cov- 2.
The list n was updated on July 1 to include entries of the first two products tested directly against SARS-COV-2. These two Lysol products were the first to be tested in the laboratory and then examined and approved by the EPA. The test was manufactured by Reckitt Benckiser (RB), the Lysol parent company and the results showed that the maximum clearance fog of disinfectant lysol and Lysol disinfectant was able to kill Covid-19 after two minutes of use.

"EPA approval recognizes that the use of a Lysol disinfectant spray can help prevent the propagation of CVIV-19 on hard and non-porous surfaces. Faced with the pandemic, the lysol continues to work with a Wide range of scientific and health experts to educate the public about the importance of hygiene. "
The EPA says it will continue to examine the disinfectants tested and "expects to approve such statements for additional list products in the coming weeks." And to learn more about using cleaning products to kill coronavirus, seeYou certainly make this mistake whenever you use a disinfectant.
