If you have this product Dole, throw it away immediately, says FDA
You should "not consume it, but rather throw it immediately," the company warns.
Dole is one of the most reliable names in the Supermarket Products section. It's the worldLarger fruit and vegetable companyHead of 300 staples that you probably always always have at home, pineapple bananas and fruit juice salads. But that does not mean that whenever Dole does, it's always good for you. The company has just published a reminder notice, which was published by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA), warning that a particular product should not be consumed now - in fact, you should "throw it immediately", warn- they. Dole issued a reminder of some of his blueberries because ofCyclospora contamination.
Dole voluntarily recalls a limited number of cases of its fresh blueberries from the market because of potential contamination withCyclospora, a parasite that can cause intestinal infection called cyclosporosis. "A person can be infected after injected contaminated food or water", the recall noticePosted by the FDA Explain. They cite common symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, corporal pain and fatigue.
Fortunately, Dole says that no disease has been reported at the time of the reminder of 24 June. If you have consumed these blueberries and fear that you can be infected, contact your doctor for treatment. "The infection is treated with antibiotics and most people respond quickly to treatment," says the notice of reminder.

All soil blueberries are not affected by the reminder.
The dental blueberries in question were sold in a variety of sizes, all packaged in clumshell boxes. Only some of many blueberries in the following sizes and UPC codes are included in the reminder: 18 oz. Packages with UPC code "071430011546"; Pints with UPC code "071430011515"; 6 ounces. Packages with UPC code "071430011508"; and 24 oz. Packages with UPC code "0714300111553."
In the reminder notice, Dole says if you have blueberries with these UPC codes, check the packing date and lot code numberOn the dole site To see if your blueberries have been recalled. The lot code is a series of five numbers on the top of the black ink Clamshell box (as seen here).
Dole says that any customer with a box of the affected blueberries should "throw it immediately".
In their announcement of the Blueberry reminder, Dole says: "Consumers are invited to check any product they have at home and remove any product corresponding to the description of the production, the UPC codes and the product batch codes listed . "
They confirm that no other Dole product is affected by the reminder. "Only fresh soils with the exact UPC combinations and lot code identified are included," said the company. "Consumers who have one of the remembered products should not consume it, but rather throw it immediately."

The recalled blueberries were sold in four states.
According to Dole, recalled blueberries were distributed in Illinois, Maine, New York and Wisconsin, as well as in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia of Canada.
The Company states that any person of the reminder questions must contact the Consumption Center DOLE 24 hours of 1-800-356-3111.
