After the case group, the officials created a mask notice. By NBC, at an emergency meeting on July 19, the Health Committee voted to inform people to wear masks inside even if they are vaccinated.Janet Whelan, MD, member of the Provincetown Health Council, felt that the Council should have been even more strict.

"I must say that I'm a little disappointed that we have not taken any stronger supports about it. Rather than advise, we should need masks, "said Whelan at NBC. "The most interesting thing for me of this case group is so infected people have been vaccinated, which means many vaccinated people who are exposed that are exposed to this may feel safe, but can also transmit it to others."
