Unfortunately, all supplements are not created equal when it comes to your health. Now, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) warns consumers against the use of a particular supplement - and if you have it at home, the authorities say it should be destroyed. A weight loss supplement sold online is recalled.

On 11 August, the FDA announced that Houston, the eBay seller based in Texas, Jongu 4308, was voluntarily recalled hisMax Health Hydro Burn Burn Burn Supplements. The supplements, which have been marketed as a weight loss aid, were sold on eBay between May 29, 2021 and July 27, 2021.The supplements recalled were packed in a box containing 20 sachets.

Supplements contain unapproved prescription drugs.

The reminder was launched after an FDA analysis revealed that the supplements could contain sibutramine, a non-disclosed prescription drug on their list of ingredients.
