An Irish Cocktail of Isle d'Emerald Isle

This festive drink uses aged tequila in Irish whiskey barrels.

Yes, you read this correctly - this festive cocktail is made with tequila and not the whiskey! But Cuervo Tradicional Añejo has a connection with Irish liquid gold ... It is aged in barrels of Whiskey Malt Irish Malt.

Do not worry, however. What the Irish Aitall lacks a dark liquor, it composes other herby and fruity flavors with a point of softness inspired by the Celtic flavors we all know and love every 17 March.

Before you start making the cocktail, make the simple syrup by simmering to equal parts of sugar and water, then add cutting fennel and cephamoon seeds, which allows everything from steep. Once the syrup is tense, you are ready to start on the Irish Irish. When finished, add grapefruit and thyme sprigs for the presentation and have it celebrated!
