Chipotle brings back this fan-favorite

The Mexican chain finally removes this menu item after selling several times from the half-year chain a year ago.


This menu item, which was the new launch of proteins of the sale in Chipotle in history, finally reappears on the menus after being m.i.a for more than half a year. The Carne Asada de Chipotle, which is more juvenier and tender than the regular steak option (and 50 cents plicient), appeared in the chain menu inSeptember 2019. The chain initially declared that it would be a limited time menu element, but it was so successful that in November, the casual rapid chain extended its race until 20202020 with murmurs potentially becoming a permanent menu item.

After a repeated sale during channels across the country, Carne Asada was finally drawn from the February menu. The fans were shocked to hear the news, but Chipotle had a good reason to remove the highly popular menu item: durability.

Chipotle has a part of theHighest quality sustainability standards in Fast Food industry. Known as their "food with integrity standards", Chipotle is committed to providing the beef without antibiotics or added hormones. The chain also has high social protection standards and "make an additional effort to partner with farmers, farmers and other suppliers whose practices focus on quality and accountability in sustainable agriculture" , according to one November 2019Press release.

These are the high standards that forced Carne Asada out of the menu. Chipotle was limited to the search for meat only suppliers who meet their needs, which is why the menu item exhausted several times.

According to the rapid casual chain, only 5% of the American beef meets strict chipotle supply standards, which means that it comes from animals that have antibiotics or added hormones and which are raised responsibly. Chipotle has taken a one-year mission to develop its Carne Asada supply chain in partnership with new farmers, breeders and other suppliers whose practices focus on quality and accountability.

After that, from September 24 to September 27, the premium protein will be available as a digital only menu item on the Chipotle and Chipotle.com application.
