The Mexican chain based in California, the coastal grid of Rubio has deposited for bankruptcy. The company will undergo a restructuring of Chapter 11 with a prepackaged plan, which it agreed with its sponsor and its lenders, according toNews from the Nation's restaurant (NRN).

"The agreement with our sponsor and our lenders position the company to thrive in this constantly evolving market," said Marc Simon, CEO of Rubio and President, told the release in a statement. "This plan will strengthen our finances and allow us to continue serving our loyal guests and to move on our business." The regional channel operates more than 150 locations in Arizona, California and Nevada. The operations at these locations will continue with the bankruptcy procedure, according to NRN. Rubio was forced to permitClose 26 Restaurants Earlier this year, which included all its locations in Florida and Colorado. In total, the chain has obtained nearly 50 locations since the last quarter of 2019.

Rubio's, who describes his menu as "Fresh Mex" by focusing on fish tacos, quickly swiveled to off-room restoration when the government mandated the sites of March. Although most of its locations have reopened, a small number remains closed pending the changes in the restrictions of the state and county.
