Teriyaki Pork chops with saved apple recipe
It looks like Homer Simpson was on something after all ...
It's a remake of the Old Homer Simpson Special:pork ribs and complex. Only is not an ordinary cooked cartoon cotton with a spoon of a pot, and it also happens much healthier (nobody has never accused Homer of having good nutrition). This pork is soaked in a sweet and garlic Tariyaki marinade, and apples are skipped with ginger spices and Chinese, making for a perfect and sophisticated partnership, Yin-Yang (prolonged cue for burlaming of homers). These pork teriyaki chops are easy enough to throw together on a busy Tuesday night, but they are quite fantasy to serve dinner with customers a special Saturday.

You will need
4 pork chops (about 6 oz each)
1 cup of the teriyaki marinade in bottle (we loveSoybean vayon)
1/2 tablespoon peanut or canola oil
1/2 onion, diced
1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger
1 peeled apple, caroté and cut into dice
1/2 cup of apple juice
1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
1 C. Five Chinese spices powder tea
Black salt and pepper
How to do it
- Combine pork chops and Teriyaki sauce in a shallow bowl or a sealing plastic bag, turning the choppers.
- Cover the bowl or seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour and up to 8 hours.
- Preheat a grill, a grilled pan or a largecast iron.
- While the grill warms up, heat the oil into an average pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and ginger and cook for about 2 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Add the apple, apple juice, vinegar and five spices, and stir to combine.
- Lower heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the fruit is softened (but not wet) and the liquid has sufficiently thickened to cling slightly to the apples.
- When the grill or saucepan is hot, remove the pork from the marinade, avoiding excess with paper towels and gril up for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until slightly carbonized until it is depressed but which gives up to the touch. (Be careful - If the grill is too hot, the sugars of the marinade will burn. In the end, you want a nice average heat.)
- Serve each chopper with a spoon of apple chutney.
