Attention, home kitchen! If you have recently bought Spice Hunter products, you can take a close look at the labels. The brand recalled a list ofspices and condiments because of the potentialSalmonella contamination.

The reminder was launched after a supplier advised Sauer Brands, Inc. of the possible presence of Salmonella in specific bouts of organic parsley provided to the spice manufacturer. The company recalled organic parsley products, as well as all other items that were in production at the same time and the list is long! It includes: black pepper, cayenne, coriander, dill, herbs of Provence, sesame gourmet seeds, seasoning to the Italian, biological cinnamon, pumpkin pie with spices, and more. Spices come in glass jars, and they were sold at retailers in 31 states, including Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland , Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. They were also available for purchase directly from the brand on Spicehunter.com.

So far, there has been no disease report related to this potential contamination. If you believe you have one of the products in this list at home, you can return it to the point of purchase for a refund.
