Seven different chocolate bars are recalled after someone has found fragile plastic pieces in one.
Seven differentChocolate The bars and products produced by Lake Champlain Chocolates (LCC) are recalled after the consumer found fragile plastic parts in one, American food and drugsrecently announced. Chocolate bars are part of Valentine's Day, holidays and other themed gift baskets, boxes and packages. They were distributed in each state and in the three Retail stores of LCC located in Vermont.
"The CCP is a reminder after a consumer has reported finding fragile plastic parts in a finished product," the reminder notes. "After initial investigations and abundance of prudence, LCC voluntarily recalls all the potential products currently concerned in the July 2020 market at 2021 to 2021. To date, no consumer reported harmful effects on the health because of this contamination. The Chocolates of Lake Champlain involved in the reminder since July 2020, but have since been removed. Included are:
- Hazelnut Bar Five Stars
- Fruit & Nuts Five Star Bar
- Five-star almond bar
- Granola Five Stars Bar
- Organic milk chocolate bar with sea salt and almonds
- Milk chocolate almond bar
- Vermont Green Mountain chocolates
"LCC asks clients to interrupt the use and immediately dispose of all the products listed above., "The reminder announcement says, noting that customers should look at the best date of the chocolate bar to find out if it is included in the reminder and e-mail [email protected] for any question or concern." Lake Champlain Chocolates is committed to consumer quality and safety products and takes aggressive corrective action to prevent the need to receive future reminders of its products. It emphasizes that no other LCC product or lot code has been affected. "
