Spoiler alert: a dessert wins the top, the healthiest place!


Since January 1, 2021,Joe's Trader announced the arrival of more than 20 new products in its many grocery places. But with a door renews also charged with fresh articles, how can you decide those who are worth the hype and are not?

Also appetizing that these, you may not want to waste a precious trolley space with these new treats. Two cookies represent 180 calories, 9 grams of fat, 23 grams of carbohydrates and less than 1 gram of fiber, not to mention a lot of sugar.

"These cookies contain 13 grams (about three teaspoons) added sugar," Heikkinn says. "They have 5 grams of saturated fat and I suspect a nice amount comes from palm oil, which appears five times in the list of ingredients (as a palm and palm kernel oil)."

Heikkinen suggests trying to try a piece of a dark chocolate bar Joe's. If you always want these cookies, have one at a time. The box is delivered with 11 and this means that you have about 7 grams of sugar, you cut calories, fats and carbohydrates to a manageable amount.

Fiocchetti filled with cheese with pink sauce

The Joe merchant is notorious for frozen meals - in fact,we just won the top in the chain12th annual price of customer choice. (Can you guess what it is?)

This Fiocchetti containsThree portions by container. It has 290 calories, 26 grams of carbohydrates, 8 grams of protein and a large grams of fat. All you have to do is watch the ingredients to see why.

"The pink color of the sauce is due to the addition of cream, contributing significantly to the 10 grams of cholesterol saturated grease." Heikkinn said, also noting another disparity. Chili Calabra Tomato Soup

"Although not unusual for soup, sodium (740 mg) in a portion of a cup provides approximately one-third of the daily value," Heikkinn said. "At 250 calories and 16 grams of fat, it's a little rich for soup."

It notes that the small amount of fiber probably means that this soup does not contain too many vegetables. This, with a number of minimal proteins, it means that it is not really healthy meal, the TJ makes it the case.

Magnifisauce

Heikkinen and Trader Joe both declared that this makes a good hearty and healthy meal, especially if you add vegetables and grains.

A portion (about 4 ounces) is 200 calories, 11 grams of fat, 520 milligrams of sodium, but only 2 grams of carbohydrates, no sugar and 22 grams of protein. "Associate it with couscous of whole grains and added vegetables," Heikkinn says. "It would also work very well for a low carbohydrate diet with only two grams of carbohydrates per serving."

About half a cup has 150 calories, 8 grams of fat, 150 milligrams of sodium, 19 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fibers and less than one gram of protein. But it's the sugar content that makes this good option when you want chocolate.

"This treatment has only 4 grams of added sugar (about a teaspoon) in a portion," she explains. "Unlike other plantan chips, these are made with a healthy sunflower oil instead of palm oil."
