And it's for an incredible cause!


Cooking sales are always an easy way to collect funds for a cause, right? So why would not it work at the national level? At least that's what three bakers thought when they decided to launch theBaker against racism initiative. Thanks to their organization, this country is about to experience the largest cooking sales in America.

Here's how it works: any baker (and I mean, any bakery) can join the initiative and host a cooking sales.According to their criteria, bakers can sell any type of bakery products to other people and donation of the product to a charity of their choice supporting the cause. Although it belongs to the baker especially what type of charity to support, bakers against racism suggest deposit funds, local chapters ofThe lives of blacks countand Community funds.

Bakers take a stand.

Although there were many ways, people started vocalizing injustice and finding ways to supportCompanies belonging to Black, charities and persons in need, food and cooking communities have sought ways to respond. Alexis NGO, a formed pastry and professional cooking arts of the Culinary Education and Founding Institute of the Cake StudioCakes by Lexi, decided to participate in the efforts with cooking against racism. It will offer a set of six beautifully designed sugar cookies with black life iconography and text.

"Since my strengths are in the artistic aspects of cooking and decoration, I wanted to introduce and enjoy that," said NGO. "I love cooking, but my heart lies in design and decoration."

Originally, NGO was planning to join a kind of fundraising forThe lives of blacks count andZero countryside With another baker, but their plans had fallen through. When she met the baker against the racism campaign, she jumped into the opportunity.

"I really hope that the strength and momentum of this movement inspires a real change," said NGO. "It is so encouraging to see so many people fighting aggressively for a common cause - something I have rarely seen happening. All I'm going to say is that systemic racism in America against not only the blacks, but all the POCs were to be addressed. I'm glad it's finally. I'm happy with businesses and that people are held responsible for their actions, and I think the results of this movement will improve America and the Life of Americans for the better. "
