The bad diet the worst error of everyone does now

The holidays are often an excuse for freeing from our eating habits.


Indulgence equal holidays for most of us. This is the only time of the year when weight loss is brushed and the time spent with friends and a family around good food takes precedence over any diet we are trying to follow.

But a new survey shows that more than half of us would not give up as much in vacation food if we were aware of the amount of food we eat. (In touch:The 7 healthiest foods to eat right now.)

The survey was conducted by the V8 manufacturers and the results they shared withEat this, not that! Show that more than two-thirds of respondents (67%) are not allowed not to pay attention to the number of calories they consume during the holidays, while nearly 77% said that enjoying the holidays is more important than calorie-counting.

And although this certainly seems a positive and stress-free attitude to have, the reason most of us think that this way is because we do not know how serious our holiday meals are serious.More than half of the respondents (57%) said they ate less if they knew how many calories they really consumed. It seems that the glutant attitude hinge largely on the old "ignorance is the bleaches" philosophy - between all the large meals, desserts and alcoholic beverages, it is easy to lose the track of our account of calories and to justify Meals much larger and richer than is good for us.

This is especially true for younger Americans such as zers and millennia, which may be stricter with their diet during the year. More than 60% of them said they were looking forward to the holidays, as it gives them an excuse for eating unhealthy foods.

And while the upcoming Christmas festivities have the impression of taking a perfect break with calorie counting and eating healthy, remember that it does not necessarily have to be an all or nothing approach.
