We tried 3 chief celebrity pasta recipes

The winning recipe was a total surprise!


Carbohydrates of any kind are major comfort food for us, but the ultimatecomfort food must be a bubbling casing dish ofbaked pasta. The gold cheese top is brown perfection, pasta that hide below are perfectly cooked and covered with creamy sauces and do not forget these crispy pasta edges that cheese did not cover well. Talk about a relentless goodness plate for dinner!

After cooking three different celebrity pasta recipes from INA Garten, Alex Guarnaschelli and Guy Fieri, the upper part was a complete surprise. The choice of the original number was based on three simple factors: what facility the recipe was to follow and do, what facility the ingredients to acquire, the appearance of the pasta out of the oven and the general taste.

Ina Garten is the queen of cooking at home. Its recipes are incredibly easy to follow and they are typically looking for the photo in its cookbooks. After trying the pulp recipe cooked from his last cookbook, I knew we were for a dinner everyone would like.

What was the facility the recipe to follow and do? The recipe was very easy to follow and do, although it takes a moment because there are two 40 minute time blocks where the sauce is simming or the pasta are baked. If you wish for an easy week's meal, consider making pasta sauce over the weekend, store it in the refrigerator and then gather the final dish during the week.

How are the ingredients easy to acquire? All ingredients are the ones you can find in any grocery store. The only thing that could be slightly difficult to find is the earth's lamb. You can usually find it in a specialized meat market, or if you have good relationships with your butcher, they can grind lamb for you. If the lamb is not your taste, this dish would be just as delicious (and more economical) with chopped beef or an Italian sausage on the ground.

The look of the pasta outlets of the oven: The pasta come out of the bubbling oven and with a beautiful golden cheese crust. The general appearance of the dish is very attractive and you will want to dive right away. Just make sure to blow on your first bites so you do not burn your mouth on super hot pasta, sauce and cheese.

General taste and thoughts: While these pasta were tasty and sufficiently made for lunch the next day, it's just not my favorite we tried. It is definitely necessary for a while to do if you do not do it more than a few days. I did not like the chunky either the sauce with the vegetables, then next time, I would cut the onions, carrots and light bulb slightly smaller than the instructions say to do.

You may be familiar with Alex Guarnaschelli food network shows likeChopped,The kitchen, WhereHead of iron. It is known for its accessible food that pleases the masses, including its baked Ziti plug. It was a classic comfort dish that I could not have enough.

What was the facility the recipe to follow and do? The recipe was quite easy to follow and do. One thing I did not like about this recipe was the way the steps were arranged. It sounded that you had to do each individual task one at a time, which is not the case. Next time, I will know that I can do the sauce and boil pasta at the same time and reduce the amount of preparation and cook time for the general dish.

How are the ingredients easy to acquire?You probably already have at least half of the required ingredients in your home right now. It's a very basic recipe, using things like garlic, onions, canned tomatoes and dried pasta. Many of them are consideredpantry staples. I would break this dish again on one night, I did not want to cook a lot to know that I probably suffer from everything and would not need to run at the grocery store.

The look of the pasta outlets of the oven: The dish came out of the bubbling oven as a cauldron right of pasta heavens. It smelled garlic and basil, and the cheese on top was perfectly golden. It was a dish that I could not wait to dive.

General taste and thoughts:Alex's Baked Ziti has been a person who will appeal to your whole family, and it sounds like something that took almost all day, but it took only about one hour from the preparation. I would certainly make this dish again, if not for the remains the next day, which were even better than the first night, because the pasta had a chance to soak more of this tasty sauce.

Let's be fair honest, there is a reason why Guy Fieri is known as the mayor of Flavortown, and I think it's because of these pasta. The paired lemony sauce with salty capers and Prosciutto is the perfect combo that is not a dish with red sauce.

What was the facility the recipe to follow and do? To be very clear, this dish is not for a beginner cook. If you're starting with the baked Ziti to the Alex Guarnaschelli guy's friend before diving into this recipe. This pasta dish has three different parts, all use different cooking techniques. Make sure to read the instructions completely before you start so you do not spoil anything.

How are the ingredients easy to acquire? The ingredients of this recipe are a bit easy to acquire. You may have to go to two or three different grocery stores to get everything, but I promise it's worth going to Trader Joe's and Publix to get all the ingredients.

The look of the pasta outlets of the oven: All right out of the oven that pasta looked divine. It smelled sage and lemon. The chicken at the top of the pasta was golden fried, and there was a beautiful cheese crust of extra parmesan cheese that is sprinkled on the top. It's a dish that is worth taking a picture of the Instagram to make all your jealous friends, they are not at home for dinner.

General taste and thoughts: This cooked pasta dish was the best of the three I tested. Although it took a lot of time and a lot of dishes, the taste of the dish has exceeded the other two, sending it directly to the top of the list. One thing I did not like about this dish was that it was not good for the remains. The sauce breaks when it is warmed up and the pasta become fat enough of all butter, so enjoy as long as you can the first night. If there are leftovers, throw the pasta and save the chicken to turn into an envelope salad or upward with the next day.
