Iraq deployment

After constant training, it was finally in 2007 that Josh was deployed to Baghdad was the Iraqi capital. He was one of those lucky survivors who fought the war in Iraq and headed for the house, the United States safely. But this trip was not a trigger. He had to spend a lot of time.

The attack

It would have been only three months in the war that while returning to the base camp, Josh was attacked. An explosion took place on the other side of the wall, but the impact was so high that Josh had rocks striking hard. He ran to save himself, but it was quite late. He suffered a wound somewhere that impacted on his life.

Cerebral lesion - brain-damage

Josh did his best to reach the concrete bunker, but before being able to do it, a huge rock had given him a serious brain injury. His situation was initially critical, but as they say, the soldiers fight every chance and Josh struggled too. While people thought he was all in shape now, nothing really knew it was only temporary relief.

Undiagnosed disease

Josh Marino was immediately sent to the training camp hospital. His head injury has she recovered after days, nobody could feel how it had an impact on this war veteran. Things were not as good as they appeared. Later, in a report, Marino said, "In the army if you do not look like your injury, there should be nothing wrong."

Not true

Josh Marino did his part in the war in Iraq and in 2008, he returned to FT. Riley in Kansas. However, now Josh was certain that something was terribly bad with him. His head would hurt and he has somewhere had a little anxiety. Things are really wrong and soon when they will take place, life would no longer be like that.

Post-traumatic stress disorder

Josh was one of the practices of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). After each war, he would be struck with trauma. The trauma caused to attend devastation and widespread damage caused by the war. It was a disorder that changed his life in such a dramatic way as it seems to approach his loved one.

Side effects

It is a sad achievement that post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a health problem that the majority of our soldiers and army men were facing. The men witnessed and are part of the war that had taken many lives. Although during the border fight for the nation, they represent their bravery, the after-effects are something that has a major effect on them. "It causes incredible suffering even after the weapons have become silent," says Josh.

Aggravated things

Josh recalled: "Many of us get home without realizing that we bring the war at home with us." Things become difficult for Josh. The Iraq war had negatively affected its mental health. He had feelings of anxiety, guilt, fear of fear on him. And, then a particular day, the unimaginable took place.

Itself isolated

Josh's memory faded. He woke up and slept. He is isolated from his family members and started living with his problems alone. And when he could not stand it, he took the most difficult call. What was the brave, yet a little broken soldier?

He leaves

Marino was under so much pain and suffering. He was in distress. For him, he had left nothing in the life that was worth living. His passion to serve the country somewhere turned out in a nightmare. His parents always feared that and, unfortunately, all this happened to their son. That night, Marino wrote his last letter to the world. He leaves. Then…

A last smoke

Josh wrote his heart on the letter and was ready to say goodbye to this world. He bought a knife and took a lighter. Before he bid by goodbye, he wanted to smoke his last cigarette. And when he went to do it, he heard noises of bushes.

HUSTERIN SOUNDS

Josh was almost finished with her last smoke when he heard the brutal sound of bushes. First, he thought he was hallucinating, but the next thing he saw had surprised him. Josh did not know, how will this thing change his life forever. It is rather what will give him another life.

Scared but

What Josh feels then is a kind of warm fur from one thing near his feet. As if something rubbed against his foot. Initially, he was afraid of feeling something unknown like this. But when he examines it closer, all his fears turn into a big smile. It murmurs: "How adorable".

She's cute

Josh was surprised to find a white and black cat rubbing her fur against Josh's foot. She was cute and even looked deeply in her eyes. She looked at the broken soldier and stirred her tail. The view brought the brave man to tears.

Went weak

The kindness that the cat described through his actions made the veteran weak. Josh reminds that the scene was so happy as if the kitty knew that something disturbed it and something was wrong. Just the race of light and hard chat legs have changed the thoughts of man. How? 'Or' What?

Help

In Josh's words, the cat's touch was enough to make it feel as if someone is still there who cares about him, someone who could understand the emotions that Josh faced. Josh says, "As I saw it, I forgot all my problems and I wondered how can I help this cat with his problems".

Instant connection

Josh and Kitty had some sort of instant bonding. As if they were lost in their lives, just to meet. They both found comfort in a single presence of each next to them. Josh forgot what he came to do, the cat had made his magic. She saved without knowing her life.

Caress it

The calm that this cat has been with her in the chaotic life of the veteran, forced her to caress her. Josh started to feel happy with her and the first thought he had had to caress her. He found a new goal in life, a new meaning, someone for whom he could live and watch the next day.

Tuna

Marino threw his desire to give up in life. He started with a new life because of this feline. He has guarded a plate full of tuna fish near the bushes to feed his cat. He liked to see how the cat would arise every day and would cherish the meal. Yet it was not everything.

Hey scout

Josh named this new friend of him as scout. The cat would jump up and sit in Josh's knees. What is connected to these two suddenly, it was a surprise, but everything can be sure to be that animals have a positive impact on man. There are those who can restore emotions. But, a strange day something unexpected happened.

New love

Josh started living a happy life. He slept and eaten properly and followed a disciplined schedule now. All thanks to this cat-his scout who asked him. And as things turned better, he even found the love of his life. But suddenly, scout has disappeared. Josh was distressed, but he knew he had to do everyone.

High school lovers

Josh started dating a girl named Becky, from the same school as he. He remembered to know her in high school. And this time, as they started going out, he realized that it was something more than friendship. However, Josh never thought Becky would bring with her a surprise.

It's scout

After a few months of Becky dating, the duet went to an adoption house to adopt a cat. And there, Josh received the greatest surprise of his life. A cat glued one leg and placed his paws on Josh's arm. And with this touch, Josh realized that it was other than his dear Scout who suddenly disappeared.

New beginnings

Josh returned to Pittsburgh with Becky. He started with a new life there. They moved to a new home, where Scout was joined three other cats who Becky had. They were a happy family now. But things did not finish here, much more was in store for him.

Josh returned to his college. The education he left halfway to the army, he thought of completing it and a degree. This will probably look for a good job that could provide sufficient resources to deal with his family.

Lifestyle changed

Scout had changed the life of Marino in incredible ways. Not only had he had a reason to live but he also brought enormous changes in his way of life. He started eating healthy and also followed a physical exercise model. And one of the best changes being, Marino was trying to stop smoking.

Unfortunately

As life turned better for Josh, while he was starting to cherish and value life, an unfortunate event again hit again. Scout acts soft for a few days and Josh took her to a veterinarian. And the cat was diagnosed with feline leukemia. Josh had his heart in his mouth.

My everything

And as a few days passed, Scout offers goodbye to this world. Josh was in extreme pain. The cat that gave him another life, today was not with him. He was broken. But this time he did not abandoned because that's what Kitty had told him and stopped doing it. He knew he had to live his best life than for the scout.
