This year, we have witnessed many special edition of the famous hit talent show The Voice. Constraints imposed by the health crisis, virtual audience, change coaches but also new stage in the competition back on this 10^th unique edition.

Shooting

The program has faced health crisis by adapting to the best first audition blind to the stage of the final. An impressive health protocol masks, liters of gel, anti-Covid test ... a difficult task that took a lot of organizing technical teams and TV studio.

the place

Auditions blind were held in closed session this year, anti-Covid obliged measures. These first steps took place over several half-days, for the first time without an audience.

The virtual audience

Instead of the usual audience of 450 spectators, production disposed of hundreds of screens showing looped the reactions of people registered via webcam. Gradually, as the show beforehand, this virtual audience "materialized" by some real pretested spectators wearing the mask and well distanced from each other.

coaches

This year we had the pleasure of meeting the great Florent Pagny, former coach, who had promised to return. The jury also welcomed a new member, Vianney and it's good, we love it! The singer had been contacted previously by the production but refused at the time, wanted to focus on his album. Marc Lavoine and for the feminine touch, Amel Bent are the two other coaches: a very rich season!

The new stage of the "Battle Cross"

After editions blind, each coach has fifteen talents in his team. Candidates will then clash in battles during which coaches can take the talent eliminated another coach. The novelty this year? The "battle cross" inspired by The Voice US, this step is a duel between two candidates with two different teams, selected by their respective coach. The two talents compete in song, on a title of their choice and the audience chooses the winner.

And the winner of last year?

Abi Bernadoth, winner of the previous season, was part of the Pascal Obispo team. Since winning last June, the young singer 21 years, former English teacher, has released an album entitled "This is my chance," composed of 5 tracks. Her second album is currently underway and Abi was recently chosen to interpret the theme song of Soul, the last film Pixar ( "I'll be stronger"). A talent to follow ...
