We get a buffy restarting the Slayer vampire!
For many Buffy girls, it was our first real hero. She started like a high school girl who lived a normal teenage life of the day and fought the vampires at night. We grew up with her and looked at her with a strong, powerful and badass woman who saved the world a lot. Finally, we get a buffy restarting the vampire Slayer!
Remember Buffy The Vampire Slayer, which shows that most children from US 90 have grown up looking? For a moment, he was one of those guilty pleasures that you did not really tell people. I mean it's called "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" was already enough for people to be dreamy. Seriously, what kind of name is Buffy? But those who were not fooled by the name and watched that it was the coolest show of all time.
For many Buffy girls, it was our first real hero. She started like a high school girl who lived a normal teenage life of the day and fought the vampires at night. We grew up with her and looked at her with a strong, powerful and badass woman who saved the world a lot. And yet, she was not just a superhero, chose it, she comes out a lot in cemeteries. She was a friend, a girl, a great sister, a very real girl with very real problems and then she had minions from hell to tuner, and she always made it with a spiritual outcome.
Remember that Willow who started as an adorable geek who was good with computers and help his classmates with homework, then become an incredibly powerful witch? What about the cute and funny Xander who could have been the class clown and the source of comic relief at the beginning, and then played an integral role in saving the world? And Giles, the seemingly snooty librarian / supervisor who was there to keep an eye on the killing and train it but really had a heart of gold and quickly became a parental silhouette to all. Oh, I just think that makes me want to restore the show, even if I have already seen every 7 seasons at least 7 times.
So yes, this show gets a restart and as a fan, I could not be more excited and terrified. I mean it's Buffy, it's sacred, the idea of them the Vissoir is too much to handle. But it looks like it's good hands. Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy and Monica Owusu-Breen, creator of midnight, Texas gather as writers and executive producers to create a newer, better, more diverse and contemporary buffy. And it's a good thing. Because just as we love the old buffy, it was not a particularly diverse spectacle. The whole case has been very white. This time, that's what they have to say about the show:"As our world, it will be richly diversified and as the original, some aspects of the series could be considered metaphors for the problems facing us today."
From now on, it is unknown that would engage in the new and improved Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Nobody has been silent yet, but everyone says Buffy will be played by an African-American woman (who, let's be honest, time). The show is supposed to continue and rely on the mythology of the old show, but it is unclear whether one of the original distribution members will return or at least one appearance. Really, all we need to continue right now is the idea that we will become Buffy again and that it will be written and produced by very intelligent, spiritual and talented people. So buckle, it's probably going to be a big walk!
