The same but not the sameis a collection of photos created by photographer Peter Zelewski, who spent a few years exploring the mysterious nature of the twins and their personalities. It does not matter the same as these twins may seem, there are always details that distinguish them. Some of them look like completely different people! Peter started the project because it was fascinated by the visual aspect of twin photography, but was then captivated by the subtle differences that were always shining by their seemingly similar appearance. He even used the same clothes for the twins to accentuate their individuality in the best possible way.

Everything is in the eyes! Ronja and Vår can share the same face, but their personalities could not be more different.

Joe and Duke are definitely two sides of the same room, but do not look like the other at the same time. From their positions and facial expressions to hairstyles and deficiencies, these two brothers could very well be linked to the United Nations. And yet, you can feel the beauty of their incredible link!

Delilah and Tullulah rock on the same nose, the same hair and lips, but their eyes and postures reveal how different their personalities are.

It is incredible from the way the camera captured the slightest difference in the faces of Devontay and Dijon. Their emotions could not be more different!


You can easily say how much these twins are not identical. Yasmin is sweet as a flower, while Leylah is a little thing feisty who knows a thing or two on the wrong thing.

Violeta and Irina have a similar physical appearance, but their personalities always shine through identical clothes, hairstyles and makeup. Their beauty is unparalleled!

Katerina and Maria can shave the same fierce style, but the way they look at you and the curvature of their lips reveal that they are really very different in real life. The girl on the right is definitely more subtle.


Bill and Toby are so similar that it's almost bad to look at them! But if you pay special attention to their faces, you will notice that a brother gives off a calm, while the other looks like a small red fox ready to do something extremely mischievous.

Chè and Leonie seem suspicious, but if you look beyond the identical makeup, glasses and hairstyles, you can easily notice how their true personalities shine through their similar physical appearance.

It's amazing how the photographer has managed to capture the slightest difference in the way Rebecca and Edwina press their lips or look at the camera. It's a real treat for the eyes!

Polly and Sophie have identical hair, skin colors and tattoos, but their faces say everything. Just look at these beautiful features - these ladies could not be more different even if they tried to!
