These guys got married on an antarctic glacier and it was amazing

This couple of Atlanta had the most unusual wedding ceremony that ever heard of Antarctica.

When do you think of your perfect marriage - what do you imagine? Is it a nice ceremony of the church? A room full of friends and family that are there to celebrate with you? Maybe even a beach ceremony with some closest friends? It looks like right, unless you're Brian Patrick Flynn and Hollis Smith's.

This couple of Atlanta had the most unusual wedding ceremony we have ever heard of Antarctica. And when we say Antarctica, we do not want to say in a shipping hut or as on a ship, no. These two married on a real glacier in Antarctica.

You probably have a lot of questions like "how?", "Why?", And "is it still possible?" To answer those who, we think it's better to start at the beginning and tell you more about the couple based in Atlanta.

Brian and Hollis both have very creative jobs. Brian is a television producer and an interior designer, he works on shows like HGTV Dream Home and HGTV Urban Oasis. Hollis is a costume designer for television broadcasts and even worked on the deadlines. They have been together for almost a decade and the question of marriage was very relaxed for them. They knew they did not want to deal with lists of guests and booking places because that's what they do a lot at work and it simply seemed tedious.

So, how did they arrive at Antarctica? Well, it was in fact the dream of Brian to visit Antarctica one day. At first, he decided to book the trip to celebrate his 40th birthday, but the more thought of it, the more the idea of getting married, it seemed attractive. So, one day he simply mentions with homes in Hollis something in the sense of "what do you think of getting married in Antarctica?". Hollis said yes and the rest is the story.

While Brian thought the logistics of the trip and who can officer, Hollis took care to determine what they should wear for the ceremony. They did not know exactly where and when they marry because so much depends on the weather during these expeditions, Hollis had to take into account a lot.

Given the fact that Antarctica is mainly black and white with shades of blue, it decided to choose colors that would distinguish against this context. He chose a merlot color velvet jacket and a black pants for Brian, and a deep Dolce & Gabbana costume, he once bought on a whim of himself. As you can see on the pictures - he made the right choice. The two men seemed absolutely beautiful.

They did not tell anyone from the cruise they get married, only the crew knew. So when the time has come to go to the glacier and get married - it was just them and 4 polar experts.

However, when they returned to the ship, they discovered that scientists and crew, who were in their wedding plan, made a cake especially for them. They really did not know what to expect from the 60 other people on the ship, who had only discovered only to get married, but they were pleasantly surprised to see how happy they are and that everyone was happy .

After returning home, Brian and Hollis thought it was too beautiful of the day to stay for themselves. So they decided to have a reception and celebrate with friends and family. And no, they do not plan it themselves, they hired an agency that will make most of the work for them, and yes, the reception will be theme of Antarctica.
