7 things that can turn you into pessimist on love
Let's talk about all these things that can turn you into pessimist on love.
Love is often described as the best thing in this world. Your family could fight all the time, your career does not go as planned, your friends are revealed to be database monsters, but it seems that love is always there to save your day. Good luck. Finding love is not always so easy and effortlessly it appears in the movies. Not only that, but when you find love, it's not always mutual. If it is mutual, it does not last forever, like Hollywood would believe us. The way forward to find true love is difficult and perfidious and, at some point, it suggests that it will never happen for us. Let's talk about all these things that can turn you into pessimist on love.
1. Ghost
Ghosting sucks, okay? But it's also quite common these days and there is nothing we can do about it. It blows that some people choose to disappear simply on you one day, when all that everything seemed to go pretty well. But alas, it is the world we live right now. People are no longer comfortable with rejection more, they do not really want to spend by having this conversation that begins with "we must speak" and ends with "I'm sorry, it's not You, it's me ". The ghost is easier, it's less personal, that's what we get these days.
2. Lying
The meeting seems to be a quite simple thing. You can either be exclusive and only each other. Or you can not be exclusive, in which case you both know you have your options open and you can see other people. Most are ok with that. It just seems, right? But for some reason, people are still lying. They say they do not date with you, when they really see other people behind you. Oh, the lies they tell, they are so bad that a child would be able to see through them.
3. Benching
Benching, in case you do not know it, is when you put a waiting relationship, in order to pursue someone else. So, basically, you are too chicken to throw someone, in case it does not work with the other person, you keep them to wait, knowing that you can always come back to them. Being bench is the worst, it's like you're good enough to be a safe option, but not good enough to be the only one.
4. Ignore
Since most of our communication these days arrives through the phone and not face to face, it's really easy to ignore people. You simply can not take the phone, ignore the texts for days or just block the person. And although it is difficult to do it, it really sucks at the end of this type of behavior.
5. Negroup
Negling is not a joke, it's essentially an emotional manipulation. All these coated compliments are undermined our confidence and allow us to request approval. And if a person you see is aware of what they do or not - it is absolutely unacceptable.
6. BILLER
This term could be new for you, but once you understand what it means you'll be like "Yup, I've been there." The headfall means fundamentally, leaving a trail of texts that prevents you from hope more. It's a way to keep someone interested, without putting many efforts. So, if you receive any coquette texts from someone once in a blue moon, they are probably advancing to keep you interested and stimulate their own ego.
7. The "I am not looking for serious"
We all heard that one before, but it never fails to provoke a eyeroll. I mean, it's the oldest line in the world. Of course, you are looking for nothing serious, unless it's a supermodel with perfect proportions. Wanted to make us feel good that even if you are looking for nothing serious, you're always ready to take an aerobics trick to the room with us? Ugh.
