The year of 2016 was difficult for the music industry and fans. Our hearts are still heavy and try to treat the fact that we have lost as many legendary musicians in one year. Nevertheless, 2016 gave us a lot of moments to be happy! As when Queen Beyonce dropped her lemonade in April or when we were lucky enough to enjoy a more incredible material from the beloved David Bowie. It looks like the past year was filled with a celebration of life, good music, dance and new discoveries! Do you agree with us? Here are our first ten tracks of 2016.

The fragile track of summer 2016 hit us strong and we do not want to let it go. Drake has traveled a long way since his days on Degrassi: the next generation. This Canadian rapper makes all titles while producing quality music - a perfect combo!

Now, if you do not already go by just reading this title - listen to this shot as soon as possible! The song is a remix of an original funk song with a drop of dead time and unforgettable trumpet parts. This girl went to the United States, platinum in the UK and double platinum in Sweden.


8. Starboy by Weekend FT Daft Punk
Ah, the Weekend keeps us always entertained. Its Starboy creation hit the graphics September 2016. The song is a dark catch on two sides of celebrity life. Shortly after publication, the public was informed of an upcoming album for November of the same year and did not disappoint.

Thank you 2016 for incredible LP and his big song Hit lost on you!


6. Cheap Thrills by SIA
Thank you 2016 for bringing us another Killer album of Sia! This synthpop party antheum has all dance and sings and was certainly one of the best of '16. It was the first single for SIA that must be a number one on the hot billboard 100!

5. That's what you came for Calvin Harris Ft. Rihanna
Posted shortly after Calvin and Taylor Swift broke, the track had a lot of noise. And rightly, then - as we have had a pleasure to find the song later was really written by SWIFT and not with an "anonymous contributor".


4. Work by Rihanna FT Drake
Yes, ladies and genes, 2016 was the year we finally obtained a Rihanna album and it was worth waiting. The fact that the song presented the boyfriend of Ri-Ri, made him even better. The Dancehall track had criticisms divided into opinions but while they argued, we danced our nights!


3. I can not stop the feeling of Justin Timberlake
The world will never be able to repay Justin for the grandeur it brings with his music. Seriously, sometimes, we look like everything Timberlake touches is a curly shot. This soundtrack of the film trolls is Groovy and we simply can not stop listening!

2. Closer near Chainsmokers Ft. Halsey
Well, it was a great year for Chainsmokers, that's for sure. This success EDM was at the top of the graphs for 12 weeks and became dual platinum in the United States. The song has sold 5 million copies in the United States, thus the third most sold song of the year! Not too bad to start, huh?
